Alright guys - this is an issue that I was happy to put out of sight, out of mind for a while, but now I want to address it. I love the GF bracelet that came with one of my Polerouter Subs, but it came with every link, and quite frankly, it's size would leave it dangling off the Hulk's wrist. It doesn't appear that you can remove links without a very skilled hand (like Michael Young), as it looks like the only way to do it is by bending the interior of the connectors. Has anyone done this or attempted the re-sizing? Or is the only way to do it via a specialized watchmaker?

    Couple pics for reference:

this is exactly the way to do it. Delicate but do-able on a DIY basis.

If it is folded, then that is the only way of doing it..

I think this image illustrate how to shorter Gay Frère bracelet. It comes from a recent auction on the bay (172383751116).

not a big job. however, "connectors" should not be re-used as the process of crimping/bending them, stresses the point where they bend. I have some new ones if you need 'em. I keep them as spares. Let me know if i can be of any help.
