Re-luming superluminova dial/hands

So I'm interested in having a 3594.50 dial/hands (C3 superluminova) re-lumed with fauxtina superluminova (like that of the 57 trilogy or modern Ed White). But I've been told that removing the C3 SLN isn't really an option, and that applying fauxtina SLN on top of the C3 may not result in the fauxtina look, because not enough coats can be applied. Has anyone had this done successfully or not (either removing C3 from any dial/hands, or applying new SLN on top)? Does anyone know of a shop in the US who would do this? Thanks!

Correct on the first part, but not on the second. The new Luminova is adhered quite well and removing it would risk dial damage. However I know a member here sent a new dial to James and he applied coloured lume on top, and it looked great - I installed the dial for him.

PS @Archer do you happen to have photo of the dial you installed? Or are you able to DM me the name of the member so that I could try reaching out to them if they'd be open to that?
