While I am a closet Speedmaster fan, I thought I'd show one of my true obsessions, a RCAF Omega HA-62. The single pusher chronograph sports the Lemania 2221 movement, which was unique to the RCAF. I acquired this watch from a personal friend who is still having a lengthy aviation career. He was issued this signed dial Omega and it has flown in over 25 different aircraft, been supersonic and still runs beautifully. The lume has left the hands but I will be leaving it as is. Cheers,
My RCAF Omega collection to date. They are truly quality Chronographs and I love the 2221 Movement. Cheers,
0he first three are 1960 HA-60s and the last three are 1962 HA-62s. Of course all have slight differences and so are unique in their own way. Also, their historical significance to the Royal Canadian Air Force is prime.
It is an addiction for sure. I know I can't help myself when I see one pop up for sale. I just have to have it, but at least this addiction is legal, hehe.
Of course they do! I do love being in the company of others with Obsessive Collecting Disorder - makes me feel so much less in need of professional help.
What makes you think that an old fool like me, having owned and operated 2 very popular clubs thru the 80's and 90's, isn't beyond prayer?
