Courtesy of Larry G, here on the forum, I'm now the proud owner of this stunning RCAF Rodana. This fills an empty spot in my collection of RCAF single pusher chronographs. Rodana and Candino competed for the RCAF contract in 1956, with Rodana/ Rodania winning. My collection picture encompasses versions from Lemania HS9, CHS9, Candino, Rodana, Rodania, Birks, Omega HA60, Omega HA62 and Breitlings (67-77). I'm still on the hunt for models from Wittnauer and Universal Geneve, so needless to say that if you have one please contact me.
Yes, thanks once again. it is neat to note that the Candino and Rodana use the same hour and minute style hands. the Rodana and 'civilian' Rodania use the same 'bulbous' sweep and by the time the production Rodanias came in they went to the standard straight hands that are most familiar.
