Just looked, my example has the concentric rings. Not that it really matters anyway, unless it's used as a contributing attribute to authenticate a given dial. Aesthetically it's irrelevant unless you're walking around with a loupe connected to your eyeball.

One of mine, since gone.

One thing I was always curious about though when I had these is, why do they only say Swiss Made? Being from 1987, I would have expected tritium still... but both vintage and service dials lack the T's.

At best, you're spreading mistruths. At worst, you're outright lying. The Chuck Maddox grail does NOT normally have the concentric circles in the subdials (I own 4), and this is the first time I've seen one with this characteristic.

So as @Foo2rama stated, I can't seemingly find a picture where they aren't there. Can you take macro shots of your 4 to show us that there are no rings?

Knowing how rare Omega Speedmaster Radial dials are, I never expected to see one made for my favorite reference of all time!
EDIT: By "radial," I mean the concentric circular rings in the subdials. Take a look at the photos.

I am wondering about the font on the dial. Your dial shows another fond, especially at all the "2"s.
Can you tell me a few more details about that dial?

Greetings

Greetings

I bought it from a trusted OmegaForums member. The shade of black is much darker than other Grail dials I have seen.

The rings on mine are invisible to the (my) naked eye, but they are there if you zoom in.

If you were looking for signs of redialing on the rear of the dial, that is really only visible on dials with applied markers. And then not always.

Concentric circles spirals. Snailing refers to another form of decoration.

Hi Archer, you have another term for this? I've heard concentric rings referred to as snailing many times.

Nice catch on the font!.
Definitely different than what's normally seen.

Yeah, nice catch on the font. The dial is definitely authentic factory Omega that has never been refinished. I'm guessing it's a very rare variation of the Grail dial that never saw much usage.

Please show how any font on this dial is different then every other example. Since we already confirmed every one of these has the circles in the subdial.

As another user has already mentioned, look at the "2" characters. They are clearly quite different. In addition, the texture and color of this dial is much darker than the usual matte coloration we're used to seeing on this reference.
