Rare Omega 300 confirmation needed

good morning all,

My brother found this at a flea market and got very excited but I’ve told him not to book the cruise just yet!
My gut feeling is its wrong but im not an omega specialist.
The case appears to reference 2913 but the dial references a big triangle.
Can anyone verify this watch or confirm my suspicions?

Well you haven't exactly showered us with info or pictures, but it looks fake.

Very fishy dial even if I don't know much about this ref. Shouldn't the E of Omega be centred with the logo ? And shouldn't it be written automatic below it ?

PS: I don't know where the hands are coming from neither...👎

Looks fake, particularly dial and hands. Case may be interesting.

Fake dial... you can fairly easily make out the stubbies at the 1, 2, and 4 o'clock markers.

Let's get some more pics. Flea market find usually means cheapie cheapie. So he's still in good shape. Case could be correct but the lugs look pretty narrow. Bezel looks correct so there's money there.

There are entire aftermarket POS 2913s out there. If dial and hands are bogus, good chance the case and bezel are too. Tread carefully.

In my exhaustive searches for 2913 bezels, I have yet to find a counterfeit........ I have barely found any 😉
