Rare Dial Vintage Omega inquiry

Hello,

I've got this watch from my grandfather and I would like anyone who has some knowledge to shed some light on this watch.I was not able to find a similar example online. all I could find is that it's a vintage subsecond model most likely from 1944, it has the 30T2 Movement

I'd like to know what the dial actually looked like before deteriorating, as I plan on having it restored (should i ?)
the model name? any special details about this specific model? and if someone has a better example and can share a photo, that would highly appreciate it !!
