Wow I love vintage Tissot, even to the logo. Pretty rare though - I haven't seen one for sale in 4 years of collecting! Yours is lovely. I think they use the same 33.3 calibre as Omega right?
Yes, Tissot did use the same Lemania movement as the 33.3. The watch above uses a later Lemania movement, the CH27

Certina made some rather splendid blue dialed watches in the late sixties/early seventies. This "Blue Ribbon" looks great, has a solid movement and great build quality and if you are into Volvos it has a pretty fun connection:

Tissots from the same era aren't half bad either.
I've never considered Certina watches before - but that dial is very nice - I'll do some googling! I also think it's very hard to tell if you love a watch from a static photo so I really enjoy watching videos of them on youtube, sadly there isn't a catalog of every watch on youtube yet haha

Special color of blue on this one.

I do enjoy Squales but never taken the plunge, haha. I guess that's an original 60s one? I do actually have a saved search on ebay but not had a nice blue one come up like that yet. Nice example 馃榾

Thank you. 60s or maybe early 70s, I'm not sure. The blue ones are not so common.
