This one is up at a local auction. Case is polished and looks to be relumed. Are these markers original? What might be the reference?
No case back or movement shots available. Bid is already strong at $650cdn including premium with more than a week to go.

My guess is 2576. Case doesn’t look particularly polished to me tbh, the early ones didn’t have any chamfers on the lugs.

The rest of it wouldn’t make me want to bid on it, though, especially not north of 650$…

nk you are correct about the ref. Google found a few with similar markers with radium lume. The automatic and seamaster are reversed In order. So the auction one was cleaned of radium at least and maybe refinshed too.
As for value this one is asking $2350Aud. It has a sharp case.

It looks like the lume was removed at 3-6-9-12 and they were painted white.

Redialed 2576. And even if it was an original dial, not a particularly rare dial variant.

Personally i will not bid higher than 650 ( i assume canadian dolars CDN = CAD ).

Thanks all. I was never going to bid on it as I already have two bumpers and lume and case issues.
I was interested in the markers being a legit variation or not. Always looking to increase my knowledge base.
