    Dear all,

I have recently seen a flightmaster ref. 145.026 with a rare black dial. I have this version as well (it's at my watchmaker at the moment), so there are at least two pieces. But I believe there must be more...

I looked, but couldn't find any existing threads on this topic.

Any thoughts or information from you guys?

I know the watch you have seen and know the owner, well its a pre production/ prototype dial, completely within the reals of reason that more than one escaped the factory so good for you! Well done,

This picture is from an Omega Museum team member. Yes it’s one of those pre- series dials that never made it to regular production. A very cool setup, lucky you to own it - to my taste it’s much better legible in this configuration, a shame it didn’t make it to the production.

... and Dibs if you think of letting it go, please :)

The picture was sent to me by a fellow watch enthusiast from UK. Don't know who owns this watch.

    So a prototype?

I bought mine from a US seller on ebay many years ago, who said he had owned it from new.
