Hi OF community.

Just got this for a pretty good price (under 2k).

It’s a blue mother of pearl Speedmaster Reduced with reference 3502.73 from around 1998/9

What do we think? A fairly rare bird not being a popular watch at the time of production with few sold. It catches the light in the most stunning way, with flashes of light blue, deep blue and pink. I’m thrilled with it. It won’t be for everyone of course, being a reduced and a striking one to boot.

Congratulations!
Can't deny that dials that change so dramatically with a simple twist of the wrist are mesmerising and fun to wear.

Mesmerising is the exact word! I haven’t stopped looking down at my wrist all day. Thank you

Nice! Very nice. I know some don’t appreciate the Reduced automatic Speedmasters. And to an extent, I am one of them as I strongly prefer the dial layout and case shape of a hand wound Moonwatch. When talking black dials, there’s not the slightest chance I’d pick a Reduced.

However, those MOP dials are something else, totally. They’re downright charming to look at, come in a number of cool variations and are surprisingly unisex too.

@omega1994; thanks for sharing!
