I have this Omega 24 Jewel De Ville Automatic 18k solid gold watch. i have searched the data base on the omega site but haven't had any luck. I have researched every bit of info i could on this watch. I'm hoping to find out more about this watch. Any Help would be so appreciated thanks Jaimis
151.8319 is the base reference number for the case, and 351.8319 means the watch has a bracelet. It's not rare - the database is incomplete. The caliber 712 inside it means it's no earlier than a late 60's watch. Looks authentic to me for sure.
Thank you so much for your repsonse. Very Helpful. So im ok to scrap the watch? or do you recomomend somewhere i should try and sell it? Im new to forums and not really sure if i could try and sell it here? thanks again!
You could list it here. I'd love to tell you it would sell in a heartbeat but it probably won't. That style is dated and not too popular anymore. The value of the gold would be significant since it's 18K. If you do scrap it (which, just to be perfectly clear, I don't endorse ever for any watch) please save the dial and movement because I'd buy it for parts. I'm an ultra-thin collector and would like a back up of that caliber in case I ever have a need for it.
