pnwyankee
ยทOffering this late 60's-early-70's skin diver, in impeccable condition.
This Ramona ref. 14004 is a delight to hold and wear, with a 37mm razor-sharp stainless steel case (factory lines and brushing visible all around) and a stunning, blue radial dial with lots of perfectly conserved luminous tritium, and perfectly matching hands. The stainless bezel is also in remarkable shape (slightly wider than the case at 39mm diameter), with an intact lume plot and an ultra-thick domed plexiglass with a date magnifier that shows practically no scratches at all.
It is equipped with the reliable ETA caliber 2452, 25 jewel, automatic movement, with date function. Service history is unknown to me, but it was worn very sparingly over the past 16 months, and keeps excellent time. This workhorse of a movement was used in many similar dive watches of the era, many of which bore much more prestigious brand names and command much higher price-tags today.
It will come on the near-new Yema Tropic Strap that I added after purchasing this little beauty two years ago.
However, the real star of the show on this one is the dial, which plays around with light in the most delightful way. The lume has a bit of a lime green hue, offering very pleasing highlights.
Price: $495
Will ship worldwide after discussing shipping services and costs with buyer.
No returns unless misrepresented in some manner.
