Railmaster CK2914-1 under consideration. Need advice

Hello, I am considering the purchase of a Railmaster CK2914-1, as per the attached picture. An extract from the archives is available, indicating a production date early February 1959, delivered to South African Union.
I am not an expert and would like some advice on how far the watch and parts can be considered proper or if your see any flaws. The seller is asking 8000 EUR, which I consider ok so far.
Concerns I have so far are:
1 Case has been polished;
2 The crown should be a Naiad, but it is not;
3 Some uncertainty of the seconds hand is correct.
What do you think?
Thank you for any advice!
Greetings, Morton

If that case was refinished, it was done by an expert. I see no evidence of sloppy work. It's also possible that is the orignal finish and this watch was taken quite good care of.

Can't comment on anything else. Does look nice!

There are probably a lot of buyers in this forum for that watch at that price if you don’t grab it.

I feel the hands and dial might be re lumed and the case refinished. I can’t say I’m certain by any means, but would want to look more closely. The price certainly reflects that.
