people underestimate how big these birds can be. from a distance they even look large. but up close its insane, saw one fly in front of our bus years ago and it looked to be the width of the bus

A wild life photographer and friends were recently on trip to photograph wild life, north of Quebec City. An obliging grey owl flew up and landed on the photographers telephoto lens. It rested there for about 30 seconds while her friends took pictures. The obliging bird then went on about its way.

there's something odd and creepy about owls, didn't realize quite how large they can be either. what a rare moment
