Hi all, I am parting ways with this 50’s seamaster. My tastes fluctuate and I don’t find myself reaching for this as much as I wanted for the past year. I’m sure someone will be very happy with this piece!

Model 2846 4SC 2848
Movement caliber 490

The dial is incredible. Somehow it aged to a bright orange. It is pretty even. The dial and hands have radium. Hands are full, no holes.

The stainless steel case is unpolished. Strong bevels on the lugs. Caseback has the legible seamaster and waterproof writing. It’s got scratches here and there, please see photos.

34.3mm case excluding crown. 42mm lug tip to lug tip. 18mm lug width.

The watch was serviced by my pal Paul @passed_time_vintage on IG in November 2022. Running smoothly! See photos for service pics! Generic crystal installed and it looks great. All else is original.

Strap not included. Please understand, the strap was a gift to me!

I am in Sacramento, California, USA. $900 OBO shipped in the continental US via USPS priority full insured. Overseas/international buyers are welcome 😀 we can discuss shipping.

I am active on here and IG under the same user: omegawatchlover.

That’s a 2848. The back is double marked. SC means Second Centre and refers to the 2846 designation.

Thanks. If you look at the caseback, it’s a 2846 4SC 2848. I forgot to add 2848 at the end there. I will add it now. No need for the “ain’t” attitude. 👍

Agreed I’ve lost the ain’t, it wasn’t meant as stroppy and I can see why you would think that but if you persist on being wrong I’ll put it back 😉. It’s a 2848. Not a 2846. The other marks refer to a different watch which uses the same case.
