    Yes it is a real omega watch. Made in 1955 or so. Dial repainted.

    The value to me would be the weight of gold of the case. That's about it.

    Yes, up for sale. Think I can get for about 100.00. But not sure its worth putting money into to. I didn't notice the face, thanks for that. I don't owe one and just not sure of cost to have fixed properly.

    I don't know much about the workings inside, sorry, don't want to be a bother, is the balance and bridge a big issue?

    You're not bothering. We are here to talk about watch. How to be clear... hm, it's a bit like a volvo with a mercedes engine if I'm right. It will not just work or work unproperly.
    If you have a precise budget we may help you find a nice one.

    Okay that makes sense. I would prob not want to spend more than 4 or 5 hundred. I just saw this one while clicking around on line today. I didn't know how many fakes where out there until i started looking around.

    One decent Omega can be found at 300 euros or so. If you have less you can find very decent watches for 200.

    Over polished case and badly cleaned dial. Pass.

    See how the edges are not sharp at all? Sign of over polishing.
