Is the blue seamaster professional worth more than the black varient due to its onscreen notoriety?

    My example is this:

    2004 - 2541.80 blue dial - no box or papers, recently serviced - - $3000.00

    2014 - 212.30.41 black dial - original box and papers, links - - $3200.00

Both are owned by the original owners.

    Thanks,
    Memphis

Well, those are two different models, so that alone could explain it.

However, I'll suggest that the onscreen "notoriety" has no impact on the value. Blue is simply more popular in the Seamaster line.

Supply and demand; Worth is what the market determines. As for specific examples though, condition counts for a lot.
