·Hi everyone,
I’ve found a Solar Impulse from a local AD and I’m deciding between this or ordering a standard Skywalker. As you know, the SI is limited to 1924 units and each watch has a unique number assigned to it. This particular watch’s # is in the 100s.
I’m assuming that Omega assigns these #s sequentially so it makes me a little concerned that it’s been sitting for years. (If it has, I want to use that as leverage with the dealer…) I’ve seen photos of these watches in various reviews with #s above 1000. Is it possible that the numbering is random or assigned in descending order? Am I just being silly/paranoid?
Thanks!
