seems like a silly question, but always better to ask first, right?

considering picking up a few extra sub dial hands for cal 321/861 as I understand these can break when being removed. Ofrei lists different part numbers for seconds, minute and hour sub dials. The only spec they provide is length, which is 4 mm.

is there actually a difference between these hands? If i order 3 second hands, will they fit the minute and hour sub dials?

your help is always greatly appreciated!

 

The 3 hands all have different size fitments so you need to order one of each

 

For Speedmaster Pro models, yes all 3 hands use different sized posts, as you can see here:



For other Speedmasters, like for example on the 7750 based models, the hands use the same diameter posts in most cases. Same goes for the 3301, 3303, 3313 based models - they all have the same size posts.

@Al, you mention speedy pro. Safe to assume that the same applies to pre-pro/321 I imagine?

 

Yes, I realize it's not 100% accurate but that was a way of distinguishing it from the auto models...321 and 861/1861 use the same sized hands.
