I got that. But I still don’t believe it based on the state of that box.

cab a box deteriórate? Of course. Would a store sell you a NEW watch last year with a box in that state? I doubt it. Would a box deteriorate like that on a year or less? Not in my experience, and I have a trunk full of these boxes.
I should add. I’m not saying the watch is not good. It looks fine to me. Just that I don’t think it’s New as of last year.

I checked it in person and asked seller for some time to think.. Here are some facts and insights:
- The watch is not sold as new or even by first owner. However, cards show it is really purchased in December 2020
- The watch is authentic, all remarks in this thread are confirmed; movement, jump hour, 7 ticks per second, papers, serial number
- The watch has few scratches on the back. Looks like some idiot was trying to open the case
- The box is original but in very bad condition

Now it is my call, I want the watch.. that exact size is hard to find here (42 mm).. but.. Box condition and those scratches bother !

I have exactly that model (such a good one!), and looks identical, but my box is the wooden type...so not sure why the red one...

Have you checked the cards serial against the watch? is it possible that the paperwork is not aligned? Or, conversely, can you check with the store if it was purchased last year there (They should have a record of it)

I would not be concerned about a few scratches, it is a tool watch and it is bound to be a little "used"

It also comes down to pricing.

Yes the watch serial matches the card
It is a matter of price negotiations now.. wish me good luck

Since you have access to watch in person why can't you take this to OB or AD and verify authenticity before purchase. Lot of sellers accommodate that at buyers expense.
