I just purchased this to go with my new vintage Rolex. Does this check out for authenticity? Anything standout?

What watch are you pairing it with? 257 19mm endlinks should work on any 34mm oyster case (Rolex or Tudor) Date code looks like 4/70, seems to have 12 links which should be long enough for a 7.5” wrist, a few links look a little stretched but not horrible.

Pairing with a 1969 Rolex Oyster 6694. Do you by chance know the best method to clean? People say polish but not sure.

Ultrasonic works well if you have access to that. Some people say dishwasher, although I haven't tried that.

Yeah, some people say it's crazy, and other people say it makes perfect sense.

I just use dawn dish soap and a toothbrush and have always been happy. The crud inside the folded links may need a soak. If you plan to do it regularly (and some members clean their bracelets on the regular) a cheap ultra sonic cleaner would work fine

Do you soak it with dish soap and water as well?

Just the bracelet and endlinks, yes. Not with the watch head.

Haha I figured. Can you imagine?! I come back to the post and say "it didn't work, my watch has water damage."

You would be surprised. Don’t try putting a watch head in an ultra sonic ::facepalm2::

When I’m cleaning a really funky eBay find watch up before it goes to the watchmaker, I will use denatured alcohol on the case around the back and bezel since I don’t trust the seals. Unless you KNOW your watch has fresh crown and rear seals and had been pressure tested, always assume it’s not waterproof

That is good to know and I will do that! Funny you mention Ebay because this bracelet was on Ebay for 2 minutes and I snagged it and negotiated for $175. How did I do?

But if you want to make a quick $25 I’ll buy it off of you for $200 and we can be friends again ;)

Haha I am assuming it is a good deal. I saw prices ranging from 4-700 but not sire if that's fair market value.

Below market value for certain - you can find many or most endlinks only for more than you paid for the bracelet w/ endlinks

The 19mm bracelet fetch a little less than the 20mm, folded link less than solid, but you still got a very good deal.

    recently saw 71 endlinks (for a 19mm bracelet) for 4K it’s getting outrageous @JwRosenthal
