Question about Omega De Ville (4500.31.00)

The person that deals with repairs wasn't in the store yesterday so I'm giving them one last chance this week to sort this out. But I suspect they can't and so I'll be cancelling the service, waiting for the watch to get back, and then dealing with Omega directly.

I'm inclined to think that either the AD is tacking on their "fee" for liaising the service through them
They already get a cut of the service MSRP...so any fee they tack on is on top of that.

Just closing the loop on this. After some pushing the AD went back to Omega and confirmed that there was an error in the invoice. The charge is now $700, consistent with what Omega lists on their website for a complete mechanical overhaul. I'd like to believe the mistake was innocent, as I've never had issues w/this store in the past, and very much appreciate the feedback I got here that gave me the info and confidence to push back. Thank you!

That's more like it! Good news.

Personally, I don't attribute to malice what can easily be explained by incompetence.

Thanks for the update. Glad it turned out to be just an invoicing issue in the end.

A very fine policy indeed, in all walks of life.
