Okay I'm kind of stumped here. I'm thinking seriously of selling this watch but I cannot really figure out what the proper name for it is and would like to provide an accurate description if I listed on eBay at some point in the future. I thought it was at T17 but have since realize the movement is clearly not one of those and probably predates it.

Would I just call it an art deco style Tank watch? My watchmaker recently serviced it and it seem to be keeping good time, but alas the wife doesn't seem interested in wearing it.

It is 14k which I believe means it was originally cased for the US market, but otherwise I am not sure how to properly describe it.

I will try to get better photos soon, hard to capture the details/movement #. Says 8378216 on the caseback and 7460078 on the movement.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't call this a Tank, or Tank style. The Tank is characterized by a wide case bezel along the the left and right sides. In your watch the bezel is equal width on all four sides, and also shows wide shoulders on the lugs sides.

Interesting you're the first person that's ever said it's a redial. I've had it for nearly 30 years and got it from old girlfriend's grandfather when he passed away. I'm not saying you're wrong but I've got no reason to believe it's a redial.

Yes refinished dial, an easy tell is the logo. The shape of the logo was not used back then.

Got a link to a logo style/era guide? I have looked but can't find anything definitive.

    Thanks!

The movement is of cal. 19.4

the dial is badly reprinted - and this is not an assumption but a solid fact...

Fair enough, so would this be an example of a correct dial? vintage-1929-omega-manual-wind-watch_360_30a318fd1eea962f2b77a33910a72ffa.jpg
