    Hello - I'm new here!

    I have a query that I'm hoping some of you more experienced Speedmaster guys may be may able to shed a little light on for me.

    I've noticed on a few pre-moon examples that some of the bezel numbers are cropped off like the example below. Any any information on why this is would be really interesting.

    Normal. I guess the manufacturing tolerance were a bit wider back then. Both mine are similar, though not on the 60.

    Well, t thought there’s a big story behind :rolleyes:.
    But,of course, your right the tolerances make sense.
