I think you made a great choice on a discontinued reference. Great, classic proportions and what looks to be an awesome patina. Enjoy it!!

I got it from jacek at hqmilton. He posted on Ig and we dealt there via email.

6800 usd, which was within my budget. It's a 1991 model, which is nice, cause I remember talking about the gulf with my dad. It was a memorable year when US invaded Iraq to free Kuwait.

Good pick! Either one of them would have been good but this would have also been my choice! By far the number1 "tool watch". Congratulations

Great choice. Dial in immaculate condition. So is the case. Looks like previous owner took very well care of his/her watch. Wouldn't be surprised if it was sold with papers and box. was it?

Beautiful. A much nicer choice, imho. I'm currently looking to do the same, as I want a date complication, but don't love the cyclops. Congrats!!

    So received it today.

Looks to be in superb condition. However I'm experiencing a problem.

I tried to adjust the time and the crown slips a little then it completely has zero movement on the hands. I took a video to demonstrate.

I've emailed Jacek about it,as he assured me that the watch has been looked at regarding gaskets etc.

Edit: Jacek has been very kind to offer to pay for the repairs to the crown slipping. I'll be heading down to my watchmaker to have it checked out. I'll update later in the day [emoji4]

Edit it: my watchmaker found 3 broken wheels aka half the teeth has broken off. Repairs are about 220 USD.

I asked Jacek if he's fine with it or if he prefers it to be done at Rolex service center Singapore.

Kinda surprised that he shipped the watch so fast without adjusting the time or servicing it.
