    Very nice. 168.023?
If correct must admit there was a little Google help!

The dial/movement does not appear to be sitting correctly in the case. There appears to be a fairly large gap between the dial and tension ring for the crystal on the 12 o'clock side of the dial. I would get this looked at soon...

    Cheers, Al

Pubquiz? Do we get a beer for answering?

    It's a chronometer 168.023 caliber 751 from the late 60's to early 70's.

that was my first reaction too. Probably not the good tension ring. Or not the right Omega crystal at it is signed. You can also check that the case clamps are screwed correctly.

yep the brown plastic ring. Didn't think of that at first. If it's the case you date disc may touch the back of your dial.

Also maybe missing a case clamp or have one put on incorrectly.

Lots of possibilities for what could be wrong - will need a watchmaker to see in person to determine what the problem actually is and correct it.
