18K "national production" case that appears to be a one-piece. Houses a cal. 431 which, according to the archives, was invoiced to Longines' Spanish agent back in Jan 1971.
Wears small (34mm sans crown, 36mm with; 40mm lug-to-lug) compared to my other 37mm Ultra-chron, but more than holds its own presence with the lovely interplay of the gold and black batons against the etched white of the dial. 🥰 And of course, that kickass caseback and brushed bezel! 😁
Saw the wifey eyeing it - looks like she might be getting her 1st vintage Longines! 😎
