It will be very hard to find a better example of a British issued ATP than this watch. It has been serviced by my watchmaker who is one of the best in the business and is keeping superb time. The original Radium lume is completely intact. The front throws off 32 microseiverts and the back, less than 2. Don’t worry, it is safe to wear. The Tommies that wore these watches died from many things but radiation poisoning wasn’t one of them. The watch is circa 1942. The watch has not been polished and is in original historical condition. This less seen version has a smaller seconds hand which makes the Enicar easily identifiable among the ATP. By the way, the ATP stands for Army Time Piece and was standard issue. They are rare because the arrow stamping meant it belonged to the crown and they were turned in after service. Most were either destroyed or restamped and repurposed. This historical example is in original untouched condition.
MOVEMENT- Adolf Schild AS 984 in beautiful strong working order keeping excellent time
DIAL- Original dial with fantastic even patina. Origional Radium lume plots intact and aged to a golden brown. The hands are syringe style and original. The color is slightly different owing to the fact that the mix used for hands was different and they aged differently. The are radioactive as Radium has a half life of 1660 years so this watch is happily pumping out as many alpha particles as when first made.
CASE- Unpolished with scalloped back retaining is sharpness. ATP and serial number beautifully sharp.
CRYSTAL- Original and in fantastic condition. Clear and beautiful with little surface marks.
    LUG WIDTH- 16mm
    WIDTH W/O CROWN- 31mm
    HEIGHT- Lug to Lug 37mm
STRAP- Was NOS pig skin but I have worn this a few times.

This watch is a historical artifact and one of the best Enicar ATP’s I have seen. It is one of my favorite watches simply because of its historical value and condition. It would have been issued to a British Tommy and judging from its condition, saw no combat use. I am selling grudgingly because I am making room for my dream watch that a member of this forum is generously making available to me. Thank you Omega Forum for a great place to learn, hang out and make friends. This is my first watch that I am selling on Omega Forum. I am going to sell a few more to make way for my dream watch. Whoever gets this watch is getting a great historical timepiece that I hope they wear and cherish. I HATE to see it go. It is priced accordingly for an ATP in this condition. I have never run across one in this fine historical shape. I will pay for shipping within the US. Out of country shipment will be an extra charge at shipping cost.
    PRICE- $660.00
