I'd be sending that off for a good service immediately. That movement needs a bit of tlc. Nice catch though.
+1 on sending for service immediately. Movement is in need of an overhaul. Don't wind it. Congrats!

Where would be the best place to get it serviced? After hearing other people's issues with Omega swapping parts out, clearly not there...

Swiss Time Service (STS) UK. The best around for vintage Omega service. Send it there. Great purchase.

What do you mean in need of overhaul, seller says it was just serviced?! Lol.
Nice looking dial btw, congrats.

Congratulations, beautiful watch!

Thanks.

When it arrives I'll take better photos. In the meantime it's going to need a strap. I was thinking leather, possibly a Heuerville handmade one. With that in mind, I'd like to find a vintage stainless buckle.

According to the very in depth guide, I guess a 16mm one would be best... but what's the going price for one? Clearly not the couple of quid like some of them (fake I guess) on eBay

I'd post a request in WTB, but can't due to post count.

$75 - 175 USD or more. Be careful of fakes out on the Bay. The buckle thread here is a great guide. Some members here might hook you up. They've helped me.
