We're just waking up to the news in Australia, I know we have a few members in Boston, hopefully they and their families are safe.
I live 5 minutes from where the 2 bombs went off and would have been watching at the finish line had my GF not insisted on showering first thank god, (I was walking over when I heard the explosions). It is crazy here, the whole area is shut down and crawling with every type of law enforcement you can imagine, including military personnel. The only thing we have to be thankful for right now are; the bombs went off at the tail end of the marathon and that 3 bombs were successively defused.
One of the worst images I have ever seen, a guy being pushed in a wheelchair missing his legs but all the bones still in tact and where they should be. My thoughts are extended out to all who are affected by the atrocities of today! We live in one world but we choose to destroy it and the the people who inhabit it. Sad really. Be safe Kendrick!
