PPC 3944 - what did it cost during the nineties?

    Hi all,

    just changed the battery for a friend who received this 3944 from his father. He supposes that his father has bought the watch ca. 1995. now he´s curious for the price of sale in the mid-nineties. He don´t wants to sell it...

    ... the man who bought it is not a watch collector. When he retired (he was a grammar school teacher) he wanted to buy the "best" (in his opinion the most precise made by the "best" watch company) available timepiece - that´s the result. btw: 33mm case diameter.
