·That’s just filth on the lugs. The case appears to be stainless steel. Dial is a little dirty and/ or scratched in the centre, but will look a lot better in natural light. Has the potential to be a pretty watch. I’ve seen several worse examples sell for more on eBay auctions (nicer examples too but these usually end around £1500-1750). Not a bargain but I wouldn’t say it is over priced.

·I also think this one has potential to be a terrific watch, that said with though, I'dbe asking for better photos under natural light. Those photos are awful and they might be hiding something. If you're having to pay a 20% vat then I'd say it's right on the edge if what I'd be willing to pay.

·Nice focused high resolution photo of the back, but no good photos of the dial. I would be concerned that the seller is deliberately choosing blurry photos to hide the poor condition of the dial.
