·Newbie to this forum, my pics are coming out sideways any tips as to what I am doing wrong. I love the forum !

I know there have been times I'll open the camera app, and the phone does not register that I have changed the orientation, so when it takes the picture it actually comes out "sideways".
I can't think of a scenario where a "straight" picture gets uploaded sideways - which is why I'm wondering about the above.

Cool avatar! I take the pics from my iPhone and then download them to my Mac then try and resize them to post .

·That's strange. Maybe something is happening (unintentionally) during the resizing process?
I really can't think of another reason aside from the one I already mentioned.
Can you just eliminate the computer? Any time I post pics, I just do it all straight from my phone.
Log into OF (not OnlyFans) search for thread, post reply, upload picture directly from camera roll.
I also re-size directly from the phone. Take pic, select edit, select crop, select square from upper right side.

·Have had that happen on other forums. Try cropping slightly before uploading, see if that helps

The images look correct when opened on the MacBook but when uploaded to OF turn 90 degrees.
I get round it by opening the image on the MacBook then rotate the image 360 degrees - and they then post fine on OF.
I’ve no idea why this should work but you can try it.

Photo was taken on an iPad in HEIC format (live mode?)
Airdropped to my MacBook, looked fine in Preview, when I uploaded it, it had changed from portrait to Landscape view.
Don't know if it's something to do with Live mode pics (hate bloody live mode BTW) when they get converted to .webp format.
I'd forgotten to turn it off on the iPad (not mine).
