Got a really good deal on these vintage UG watches. They have there original 14kt and 18kt gold buckles on some nice hirch straps.

 

Very cool! Can you post a pic of the front of the 18k buckle that shows the whole thing?

 

Yeah here you go. There’s no marking on the front, On the opposite side it says model “depose Swiss” “AW” “UG” “0.750”

 

thanks. I can’t make out the UG, do you have a better pic? Is it a logo, or initials? These kinds of details are great reference and documentation material for the forum.......

Thanks gentlemen, gotta see the wrist shot perfect on my 6 inch wrist. The 87 year old man I got it from fancied his Rolex over his UG collection so it sat in a dresser till I got it. I guess he bought them all when they came out.

 

I just received my first UG in the mail! I love the blued hands that almost seem purple depending on the angle of the light as well as that lovely gilt 12 marker. It’s a pity there aren’t other numerals on the dial to admire, but I guess in this case, less is more!

I have an Art Deco triple date that will posted in the mail shortly and I can’t wait.

 

Is your new compax now up for sale on ebay?
