This is a very nice an impressive watch ! But since you asked a feedback, it seems that the pushers are wrong for this ref. and that it was heavily resatinated, no ?

Hi thanks for feedback.
Pushers seems to me equal to the one you have for sale.
Are they different?
What do you mean by "heavily resatinated'?
Thnks

Picture from SALA

If you look at the photos of the spillman pushers you can see the pusher cap to pusher tube ratio is very tight, meaning there is almost no lip on the pusher cap where it meets the tube. I believe it's around 4.5mm on the cap and 4mm on the tube. With your gold spillman you can see the diameter between cap and tube is very different.
I'm not saying that is wrong, I have no idea......

You mean this difference?

The cap in mine is larger than in Sala is that?

yes, that difference. It is hard to say if the cap is larger, it's the relationship between the cap and tube that is different. Perhaps the cap is the same size but your tube is smaller? Or perhaps both are different? You would need precise dims with a caliper.....

I can't tell if yours and Jo's are the same, they look different to me, and perhaps both different to Sala, although Jo's looks closer to Sala offhand, again, I think you would need accurate dimensions to tell what is going on....

Please have a look to this.

I can agree my cap is thinner, but also tube size in my Compur is similar to SALA than in Highlifewatches compur.
I found some others on internet, and I can not precisely say which is correct, but highlife is the similar I could found.
Also when one size and crop the picture the ration between large and high changes and that might have some influence.

Any way watch is now at SPA, and to my watchmaker tubes are correct, and caps fitted perfectly to him, but who knows.

I am pleased with the watch, and in the end that麓s what matters to me.
Thanks for all your feedback

Sorry if I offended someone for posting these pictures without due permission

I guess that we have ultra rare prototypes
No prototypes for sure, but rare I think so

Cheers

yes, obviously some variation going on between all those different photos, but who knows why, and which is "correct"....

Can we say that this is a minor -minor - minor - minor trouble?

Newest addition: these tiny little pieces look like toys but only hold it on your hand you can really feel the quality of it. They are totally on par with the big ones for the gents. The automatic movement is one of the most silent/smooth ones I鈥檝e ever handled.

getting the correct sub seconds hand on your early SS Compur will be very difficult, perhaps not impossible if you are very very patient?

on the gold Compax, you can see the chrono sweep hand does not have a tail (like the one on your SS Compur), I believe it should. This might be slightly easier to find, but still not easy. I had a few but sold them, and they were probably not the right size for you anyways. You need to find the correct size for your calibre, and your dial, measuring center hole to tip.

In the meantime, I would not stress about it and just enjoy your watches. The time to examine the details is when you are purchasing and negotiating price, once you own it, enjoy it. I have a long list of all kinds of parts I would like to correct or swap out on various of my watches, I just keep an eye out over time in case something turns up.

After checking my watches with a UG expert, the watch is fully original and the sub seconds has a different "shape" but that's normal.

I had to scroll WAY back to find your watch ! Assuming its this one...

then I will respectfully disagree and stand with my original thoughts, which are the sub seconds is a replacement. I'm sure others can chime in if you would like to hear anyone else's feedback? Or invite whomever you had evaluate the watches onto the forum, to hear their reasoning. Regardless it's a beautiful watch !!
