There's an element of it that reminds me of street lamps. Perhaps it's called the Mussolini Edition...

I'm not making the connection, but I am curious. I thought the man had a thing for train schedules.

Before and after. Made a move on the strap for my 22242. Hermes Tan cobbled leather from a previous owner of the watch. Really works vs the suede strap I had before.

I know that I'm showing this same old UG Aero over and over but this post is about the bracelet. When purchased it had a stainless generic bracelet that had so much DNA I was afraid a passing comet might cause it to come alive so it carefully dropped into a box of other pull offs and forgotten.
I have all but concluded that actively searching for a period correct UG bracelet is an effort in futility and it was on NATO it went, even bought that blue one just for it. I was never fully satisfied with the look but it did look good nonetheless.
Finally I decided that the bracelet that spent so many years hooked up to the Aero might deserve to get another chance so I degreased it and soaked, shook, water picked, and boiled it out.
Made by Kreisler in all stainless, I guess it is a coffin link with a nice satin finish and it does look right at home on the watch. Wears very nicely with silky movements. I did have to let it out to the last holes but it fits OK there.

You have my favorite aero and I have a really good home if it ever needs one. With me, it will do what it was made to do, fly. So if you ever feel you want to move on, you know where I am ...

Thanks for the compliment and offer. I'll keep you in mind but there is something about this watch that is more satisfying than I would have imagined, even after paying attention to UG for years.
The contrast in the rotation is pleasant:
