I can assure you it's well worth the hunt. That being said this was one of those fortunate times that while I've enjoyed admiring the reference I wasn't proactively looking to obtain one and it was offered by a local collector to me first (he also knows my achilles heel is vintage chronos). Just so happened I had done a nice consolidation and couldn't pass up on this opportunity

Decided it was time to bring this Polerouter out of hiding for my 27th birthday celebration…. I forgot to post it yesterday. I hope everyone is doing well an has a great day.

 

Happy belated birthday! I bought my MK2 FS for my 34th bday which was last weekend

 

A Polerouter ref. 869113/02 with the cal. 69 movement from 1965 or 1966.

Thank you both... Wasn't completely convinced I'd like the square shape but I must say that I really pleased with it.
