New addition! I didn’t think I would be able to get one of these having only read about them recently. Longines Conquest Heritage 1954-2014

It wears surprisingly big (Connie for comparison). And is far more beautiful in person.

The Longines Skin Diver. It's too large and probably too expensive considering not only Longines' other offerings in the Heritage line, but also the other vintage-modern diver re-issues out there today.

I absolutely love it.

It works well on leather, tropic style rubber, mesh, and -- the bracelet Longines should have offered the watch on -- BoR.

Have some curved end-links incoming for the beads of rice bracelet. If those fit, it may be the best looking bracelet for it. Though the tropic and mesh are the most comfortable.

This year is the olympic year, but for a moment let’s go 49 years back (with this Longines Conquest Monopusher 30min chronograph) to Munich, Germany, where Longines was the official time keeper of XX Olympic Games (1972).

Anyone care to suggest why a classy looking 18ct European watch with this exceptionally unusual case would have solid lugs?

That it dates from 1943 doesn't make it military?
