    Franken 27M w new (and much nicer) crystal. A bit crazy but I like it and the acrylic crystal was compromised so might as well ensure this can be worn and enjoyed.

    @BlueHands

    Yeah, it is a 30mm multistep.

    I was very lucky at auction, and bought it for probably less than what the bracelet is worth. I have really wanted to start collecting more Longines' between 30-60s, but they are often out of my price range, so this is a good start! I really like the deco case on this one.

    Thank you! Maybe one day I can have as many Longines' as you! ;)

    So I hope you get it in a fine working order. This and your Omega are a nice couple!

    I’m not sure numbers are a virtue or an example to follow— and I probably should sell a couple.
    Quality is preferable over quantity- but this is a rare triple step tre tacche, glad you were able to get it for a good price.

    With the evening light it might not look like much but I’m so delighted with the new bespoke strap made by the sweet Italian craftsman I like that I had to snap a picture now.
    Quite a challenging project it was, a 13mm wide double wrap strap for which I found a 13mm vintage buckle— and he coached me so I would sew it on the watch myself with the needle he sent me. Took about an hour exchanging sewing technicalities and sketches in Italian with the help of Google translate.

    Back from watchmaker. Mrs. noelekal's wartime era Longines. She's had this watch for some years, but it's spent comparatively little time on her wrist due to an unfortunate selection of bumbling watchmakers.

    Third time's charm.

    Hi all - I have two Longines at present: a Conquest 9000 from a contact in Japan was first:

    [IMG]

    It's all original and unpolished, I was blown away by the dial and crown quality have seen so many polished and retouched examples. I was very keen on the no-date variant of the 19AS and the tiny little 'pumpkins' of lume is the icing on the cake.

    This led me down the movement rabbit hole... I'm occasionally looking for decent examples of the key handwound movements - 12.68, 30L etc. The finishing and design available at reasonable money is fantastic!

    Here's my 23ZS in a 6995 case that I paired with with a canvas strap. I takes it off the 'formal' range and more into a relaxed field watch. My watchmaker though the dial might be a reprint, or perhaps a replacement with just later paint by Longines, but we agreed all the lume aging is even and nothing appears amiss - what do we think?
