New Longines acquisition thanks to fellow OF member. Next to it’s Omega buddy, also recently found on OF. Too many “enablers” on this forum ;)

Nice pickup! I don’t know why yako is cutting loose so many Longines, but it’s nice to see them staying around.

Yeah, when he started selling I took notice. Too late for the Conquest Calendar, but I like this one a lot. I picked up a bunch of caliber 340 parts as a big batch sale on ebay for about 10 bucks a while back. Tried to give the 340 parts away but had no takers. Now glad nobody took my up on that, although my watchmaker says the movement is in great shape, so shouldn’t need parts in my lifetime. Hope my 2 year old like watches!

92B1BB6B-2AC6-4A6E-B87E-D7EDCFE9984D.jpeg For my wife. She has tiny wrists and likes these little pieces. That’s the tip of my pinky for comparison. Easy to find clean examples in precious metal for ~100 USD all day long on eBay. The movements are reliable and replacements abound given that tons of these have been melted down over time, leaving a lot orphan movements for cheap. This one in palladium, which is a first for me. It’s useful as a component of catalysts for many chemical reactions, but I guess OK for watch cases as well.

I’ll add in my favorite Longines, which was my daily wear for a few years.
