A Conquest automatic with cal. 290 and a greenish patina that matches the lume on the hands. Fishy version
This watch has a long and interesting history that I'll tell you sooner or later Meanwhile I can introduce you Mr. Ralph Henrick Olsson who received this watch from his father in 1929 and then gave it to his son Henrik in 1951. Here you can see an old version in Italian --> http://orologi.forumfree.it/?t=63984328&st=60
Hydroquest on an oldish rubber for a less casual look/day. I preferred the all numeral dail when I got this, and the better movement, and still do as i think it straddles both diver and casual dress watch. A great travelling watch but now discontinued for the 3 numeral one i think?
Got a square Ultra Chron incoming in a few days. Very excited as I like the shape and dial, and always wanted to try a cal 431. Here's a seller pic: Will post nice photos once in my claws
^superb Meanwhile this one came in yesterday. Ordered some more appropriate straps for it, but for now this will have to do: Cal 431 Ultra Chron. Haven't had the courage to open the back yet, so not sure about ref. nr. But I love this thing.
I'm too lazy to read all 32 prior pages, but someone at some point has pointed out what Longineseses rhymes with, right???
