Weight wasn't the only consideration, however. There was also a lively discussion about edge and projections like crowns. I think the PloProf was the winner....I don't recall if we ever began field testing though.

·The 60's Conquest is my chunkiest watch. The 50's Connie too, but not like the Conquest. The caseback alone feels like a gold Kruger Rand.
I used to have a 50's Conquest, which was also quite heavy, but not like the 60's rendition.

·I've a few 18K Rolex Day - Dates which I sort of purchased for the gold as opposed to the watch - those are pretty heavy.
However, I think the heaviest watch I have is a Gallet 7750. The base metal is brass under PVC coating. The watch feels like it has its own specific gravity.
I don't have a scale like you drug dealing dirtbags so you'll have to take my word for it...

·Now, it's my SS Breitling Chrono Cockpit on the Pilot's bracelet. However, this 168.009 was certainly not dainty - had to have $4500 worth of scrap value in gold!
