39mm HydroConquest owners - could you compare your end-link

Hi everyone,

I recently exchanged my 42mm Longines HydroConquest for the 39mm green automatic and I'm much happier with the size.

There is just one thing I'm wondering about. On my watch, the end links appear to sit very slightly inboard of the outer edge of the lugs, rather than being perfectly flush. The fit is consistent at both the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock ends, so I'm not sure whether it's simply how the 39mm is designed or whether mine is at one end of the manufacturing tolerance.

Would any owners of the 39mm HydroConquest (any dial colour) mind having a look at theirs and, if possible, posting a couple of close-up photos of the bracelet where it meets the lugs?

I'd be particularly interested in:

• Whether the outer edge of the end link sits perfectly flush with the lug.
• Whether it sits slightly inboard like mine.
• Whether yours looks the same at both the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock ends.

I've attached a few close-up photos of mine for comparison.

I'm not trying to find fault with the watch - I'm just trying to establish whether this is normal for the 39mm model before I pop back to my authorised dealer.

Many thanks in advance.
