Assuming this was a legit dial this is pretty sad, and an eye-opener as to the working methods out there. Crosshair goes right over the numerals. My Google-fu did not find other discussions of this particular blunder.

Indeed it was a nice watch, but wait cross hairs add value...

on the plus side the cross hairs must be printed over the varnish on the dial, which means they could be removed without too much sweat.
