There are several, and depending on your location in the world, model names vary. Throw in trucks, MCs and other vessels, planes, trains or spaceships if you like… associate by name or just because of your own experience.

Here in Oz we had the Statesman De Ville

I had one of these, it was a good car.

and we had the Commodore Omega

Jaguar…..here’s mine

And Jaguar watches …..not mine.

Others I could think of there was the Dodge Monaco (Heuer Monaco)
And the Chev Camaro (Heuer Camaro)
No doubt there will be more

1966 Olds Vista Cruiser. Not my pic, stolen from internet.

It came with one of these as a key fob, although I don’t remember which one.

I recall meeting a watchmaker who compared a Rolex Submariner to a tractor. Very rugged and a tool, but not worthy of the hype surrounding it. Photos from the World Wide Web.

I’d rather the tractor…..
How about an old Toyota Corona

or an old Corona watch
I’ll take the watch!

Ah yes the Ford Explorer, they left the door open with that choice of name…. Here everyone calls them the Ford Exploder!
Mind you it’s not as bad a own goal as the Ford Everest…..for ever to be known as the Ford Ever-rust!

Here’s another car/watch association, the Toyota Crown

And these pricks

Maybe a Seiko Crown goes better with a Toyota Crown...

Nothing specific to add here, but last year when I first started studying vintage watches a bit, the obsessive part of my brain really took over and I was seeing watch dials, case backs, etc. in every car I was stuck behind or next to in traffic. I really worried that my brain wouldn't return to normal for several weeks.

Somewhat off topic, but only specific memory of being unable to read and tell time. I thought the "continental" on the trunk were the same as the Roman numerals on a clock. I must have been 4 years old, because it was at the baby-sitter's house.
