How about three ‘62 Omega’s? Not quite a birth year collection for me, but a pretty attractive Omega year if you ask me. 😀

I’m happy to join this thread and share my trio with all of you!
I’ve focused my search on the 1990s.

Seamaster: 2552.80.00
Classic Heritage: 166.0295
Speedmaster: 3511.50

I really enjoy the "neo-vintage" soul of this decade!

How about a complete different show:
=> Three generations of Seiko quartz chronographs for the British Forces
with NSN (Nato Stock No), year of issue to the forces and Nato strap, 'used in action':
  • Seiko 1. Generation, year 1988
  • Seiko 2. Generation, year 1995 and
  • Pulsar (a Seiko subbrand), year 2005
The NSN contains of: 6645 = timing instrument, 99 = Nato member UK, ...running numbering of the instrument series. Followed by the individual military item number and year of issue.
Both Seiko with Promethium radioactive luminous indication, Pulsar with Luminox

Single brand three watch presentation
I would try a little sidestep:
Single designer three watch presentation by Gerald Genta:
The brands and watches are
  • Audemar Piguet Royal Oak,
  • IWC Ingenieur SL and
  • Patek Philippe Nautilus.
Ok the above photo is not mine, but mine are these two of them:
The third one the Royal Oak, I do not like the design as much.
The fourth the Vacheron & Constantin 222 I like the design, but thats not by Gerald Genta.

(The IWC is on auction at Crott April 18th)

Blancpain Fifty Fathom:
Any aficionados here?
Here are three unusual FF 1000 Bund from the attack divers of the Federal German Navy with Nato Stock No 6645-12-129-8664 on the back:

The automatic movements were AS 1700/FD R337.
The dials have Tritium dotted indication with less than 25 millicurie.
The watches were up to 10 bar = 1000m waterprotected.
The cases of these watches were supplied to Blancpain by Squale, a today still active divers watches manufacturer.
The watches were delivered to the military by the German divers equipment dealer Barakuda, so this was also marked on the back.
(Not to be confused with Barracuda watches of Revue or Bulova).
Konrad
(A similar watch is for auction at Crott April 18th)

PS: I attach as documents:
  • Bund specs
  • Barakuda Diving
  • old Blancpain in Villeret up to the 70s (backward pronounced Rayville)

I have more omegas obviously but how about a duplicate of my first one in 1987, another duplicate from 1997, and now the big one recently.

The middle, taking design cues, successfully IMHO, from the left and right.
