A bit of a long story about this group. my father has just passed and these were his RADOs. He stopped wearing his constellation (see below) because of locker thefts at work in the 90s and he switched to the more “wearable” but still shiny RADOs…he was (as I am) a sucker for non-SS wrist mandornments. The one in the middle was taken from my wrist about 5 years ago, as I did for a couple of omegas a few decades ago. Now these three have come to me as my siblings and their kids have no interest.

Last year I bought the 1965 as a “birth year” gift for my brother. He will eventually get it when I go to visit him in South Africa, later this year. I liked the watch and quickly decided I wanted one for myself. The next two were recently listed by Seth @ Hub City Vintage. As I told the wife, I just could not help myself…..
