Good spot! It’s is. It’s the original Peccary Heritage before the Slim versions came out.
It looks fantastic I love the patina - I stupidly missed out on one that came on eBay a month or so ago… didn’t need it so didn’t spend the £50.. now of course I have a watch it would have suited down to the ground! Haha

Thanks! This was a strap I needed to warm up to as it had a break in period. The outer driving glove material is incredibly soft and supple, however, the inner backing material was much stiffer in comparison. Having broken it in, it’s one of my favorite straps. I absolutely love the color it has taken on over the last two years. I much prefer the original Peccary to the slim versions, which I own one as well. The original version is marginally thicker and the material has a wonderful robust driving glove texture pattern to it. The slimmer version has a completely different feel and texture pattern to it. So if you were going to buy one, I’m biased towards the original.

I originally bought it for my 80’s Speedy

But now it resides in my Titus. It’s taken on my darker and richer color, which I love.

Here is the Slim version, which to me just more looks like a normal black strap than one made of racing glove material.

A trio of early skin-diver automatics...from left to right: a 1955 Submarine; a 1958 Seastar; and a 1958 T.12:

Kaufmann straps makes a beautiful peccary with folded edges. Not exactly cheap, though.

A trilogy of sorts which pretty much covers all my bases:

A diver for when I need something a bit more rugged, a chronograph for everyday wear, and an Aqua Terra 38.5 for when I need something a bit more dressy.

This is what mine is shaping up to be. All everyday wearable. Speedmaster and future Seamaster both capable tool watches. The Constellation a little more delicate and dressy. I could live happy with these 3.

Just need to add the Seamaster. A few different references on my radar but right now this is winning my heart.

I concur, you have great taste😀.
I was thinking the same this morning, I wore the Seamaster on Saturday, the Speedmaster on Sunday and Monday and the Constellation today, that's it, job done no more needed😁.

Awesome! This is the way. Funny both of our pictures were taken on the same date. Very nice C-case! I just need to get the 1040 bracelet for mine.

“No more needed”. Slow down, let’s not get too crazy eh?

The trifecta is complete. The rest of the watch box is getting ignored.

Just something about a classic Panerai. (Tritium 024, 210 & early decorated movement G Series 112)

With a brown leather strap for the AT I think these three cover most eventualities, and I have steel, titanium, and ceramic materials covered. If Omega ever do a GMT that I like (hopefully bi-metal) it will become 4.

Sun setting on my diversification. Well, still one more on the way - maybe two...
