Nice trio of blues! Shame about the 16220 being unworn though.
@jaguar11 Thank you. That is a very fair comment. When I bought the watch, late last year, I had it serviced by Rolex. Given that you can’t just walk in a buy a Rolex these days, I thought it would make a nice gift for my watch mad nephew the next time I travel to Southern Africa (or if he comes to visit) which ever happens first. Shipping is not an option I am afraid.
Three Longines Big Pilots (Celestial Navigation Watches) 47mm Weems and Lindberg from 1930s. Sideareal Time (23 hrs 54 minute watch), Solar Time watch, Hour Angle Time watch. The chrome plated Lindbergh is only one of three that is known to exist. There were about 10 made and they were delivered to Italy on one order. Currently 1, 2, and 7 still exist. My watch was added to John Goldberger's book.
Various Omega’s I’ve owned- though only one remains- the 3OT2
that said, the Omega collection is about to double, with a 146.012 incoming and at some point I’ suspect I’ll own a Constellation and - Seamaster pro 300
A trio of late-50s watersports automatics...an uncommon Submarine, circa 1955; a Seastar paired with its original GF bracelet, both circa 1958; and a first-generation T.12 with a divers dial, circa 1958
